Top Venues For 2012 New Year Countdown & Fireworks in KL & PJ Area !
Hi all, after 2 years if mia-ing, StarbucksDude is now back with a "lengthy list" of where to celebrate 2012 New Year Eve countdown around KL and PJ areas. And no worries as I had summarized it for your easy reference yah :) Of course this compilation will include the all time favorite places and some new ones where everyone around the city gather,countdown and watch the best fireworks display !! Below are the venues.
1. KLCC - Bukit Bintang - All time favourite and always the main attraction of tourists alike, enjoy performance such as Malaysia Truly Asia Show. Fireworks. Street Countdown. Wild Wild West Party. Laser Dancers. Street Buskers. DJS Spinning. Street Concert. Confetti Bursts and many more.
2. Curve / Ikano - Street Party With Mutiara Damansara 2012 as per my previous post @ http://starbucks87dude.blogspot.com/2011/12/street-party-with-mutiara-damansara.html
3. Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon - A concert featuring one third of SHE - Ella, Rania, and Dragon Red will entertain you throughout the night while waiting for the cool fireworks display and new year countdown !! Tickets starts from RM153 and its availble @ http://www.ticketcharge.com.my
4. Solaris / Publika SoHo, Mon't Kiara - A new venue to recommend if you are staying around Mont Kiara or Hartamas. SoHoKL, New Year Countdown will definitely attract tons of revellers as they are offering alot of prizes to be won and performances from 60s to the 90s.
5. Encorp Strand - Mystical Eve 2012 is the event to be hosted by the Megan Tan and Julie Woon. Expect powerful performances from Pop Shuvit, Joe Flizzow and Reza Salleh.
6. Speedcity KL - recommended if you are a petrol head and drift lover. Celebrate the new year with some drifting actions and enjoy the spectacular fireworks display and some affordable booze.
7. Ampang Look Out Point / Bukit Permai - One of the top in the list, Ampang Look Out Point has been the place to be for past few years to usher the new year as you can see the whole KL skyline for some awesome fireworks display while enjoying your meal. Bukit Permai is another place which is 10mins apart also features the same albeit less high end restaurant up here.
8. Sungai Wang , Bukit Bintang - MyMusic Street Party New Year Countdown 2012. Celebrate your countdown for year 2012 along with artists such as Henley, Vivian, OneFm Dj and etc. There will be lucky draw and fireworks too!
9. Other places around KL / PJ to go for fireworks & New Year Countdown 2012 will be Pavilion, Tropicana Mall, i-City Mall Shah Alam.
10. If you are not in these areas, fret not, as you still can go out for fireworks and 2012 New Year countdown at Genting, Auto City & Esplanade - GeorgeTown, Penang !
