The Day I Met Cyril Takayama Live In Person - Hilton KL

Cyril Takayama Live in Malaysia - May 2012 !

Was invited at the very last minute to this by-invitation only event by a friend at Hilton KL. It was a presentation by Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks Asia on their satellite channels - AXN, BeTV, ONE HD and Animax. And of course, the highlight of the whole presentation was the special guest appearance of superstar magician/illusionist - Cyril Takayama. All photos were taken using my Sony Cybershot DSC - WX1.

This dude had vowed the crowd with his simple yet exciting magic tricks with only his bare hands and a lighter plus some marshmallows too ! Cyril Takayama is in town to promote his new series - Cyril's Family Vacation in Hawaii due to premier on AXN on the 7th June. This time, Cyril comes in the form of 3 alter egos - Uncle Richard , Grandma Magi and Cousin Tiny each of them has special magic superpowers !

Those who were in the streets of Bukit Bintang might have seen the first sight of Grandma Magi aka Cyril, levitates beside a lamp post just in front of Pavilion KL 2 days ago. Overall, the event was quite good as SPE Networks Asia and ASTRO were generous enough to serve us with our own individual meals + free flow of wines.
