Once touted as the pop music queen during the mid 80s and early 90s, Whitney Elizabeth Houston, 48 (August 9, 1963–February 11, 2012) was reported died but the cause and location of death was remained unknown. Her passing came in the eve of the very prestigious Grammy music awards night.

Whitney Houston's popularity soared in the 1980s and 1990s with consecutive No. 1 hits including the smash single "I Will Always Love You," from the soundtrack of "The Bodyguard," in which she starred. The hit won the 1994 Grammy for Album of the Year.
